How to Back Up & Recover iPhone/iPad Data

Step 1 Choose the Feature "Backup & Restore"

Download and install Tenorshare UltData on your computer. Launch the program and select "iPhone Data" from the main interface. Then click "Get Started to start the iPhone backup and recovery process.

Step 2 Connect Your iOS Device to Computer

Use a USB cable to connect your iPhone/iPad to the computer. Ensure that your device is recognized. If prompted, tap “Trust This Computer” on your iPhone.

Step 3 Choose the Data Types for Backup

Select the data types you want to back up and click "Scan."

Step 4 Complete the Backup Process & Preview Data

The backup process will now begin. Once the scan is complete, ultdata will prompt you. You can preview the backup and click “Save to PC”.

Step 5 Restore iPhone Data from Backup History

Open UltData and go to "iPhone Data", choose "Backup History" to see your previously backed up records.

Step 6 Choose the Backup You Need

Select the backup file you wish to restore and click "View." UltData will scan and show all your backup data.

Step 7 Preview & Restore Selected Data

Browse through the scanned files and select the ones you need. Click "Save to PC" and select the location on your computer where you want to save the file. Then click “View” to see your backup file.
